2024 Honda FIT Facelift
A more athletic design language, higher-standard equipment, and Honda SENSINGTM as standard across the board characterise the updated FIT.
• A sportier look is achieved through updated external style, while a more premium feel is achieved through improvements to the inside.
• All new Honda FIT models are equipped with Honda SENSINGTM, the company's advanced driver assistance system.
• Improved levels of specification are applied to the FIT Comfort and Elegance models.
• Honda has given the whole FIT lineup a makeover, including the FIT eHEV, which debuted not long ago, with updated specifications, new sportier looks, and more standard equipment.
Incorporating dynamic accents that give the vehicle a new personality, the distinctive FIT personality is retained with clean, sharp horizontal lines, and new design features, such as updated bumpers, provide a more coherent and characterful appeal.
All of these updates are in keeping with Honda's original Japanese "Yoo no bi" design philosophy, which was to take ordinary things and improve them so that they were more aesthetically pleasing and functionally gratifying.
All three eHEV grades—comfort, elegance, and fit—share this more distinctive design, which is more refined and athletic. The updated honeycomb grille and textured lower bumper insert are only the beginning; the rear bumper now has a more contoured profile and textured material finish.
There has been an upgrade to the window frames and pillar trim with a sleek matte black finish that harmonises with the materials used on other external trim surfaces. A more distinctive look is achieved on all FIT grades with the new black headlamp projector ring surround.
Comfort and Elegance, two derivatives of the facelifted FIT (ICE) models, have undergone extensive changes to their normal specification levels; the FIT Executive version, which was previously offered, has been withdrawn. The FIT eHEV facelift was also recently released.
All models now come standard with a plethora of high-tech features, such as LED headlights and DRLs, front and rear parking sensors, smart keyless entry, Honda SENSINGTM, and the company's renowned 9-inch HMI infotainment system. Along with the aforementioned improvements to specifications, the FIT Elegance model also comes with a brand-new wireless smartphone charger.
Unmatched in the sector, Honda SENSINGTM is the industry-leading suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems developed by Honda. It also lays the groundwork for Honda's plan to provide consumers with access to advanced safety technologies across all of its model lines.
The front wide-view camera has a wider field of vision and can operate at night, boosting safety in more scenarios. Enhanced Honda SENSINGTM active safety technology delivers a comprehensive variety of driver assistance functions and aids as standard.
The camera can detect a wide variety of road surfaces and traffic conditions, and it can also clear the vision of fog so that it is always visible.
The Honda SENSINGTM has been upgraded to include:
When the FIT crosses or turns into a car's path, the Collision Mitigation Braking SystemTM applies the brakes. Even when there isn't any streetlight illumination at night, it can still identify bicyclists and pedestrians.
• Adaptive Cruise Control: It lets the vehicle follow other cars at highway speeds while managing the space for the automobile ahead.
• Lane Keep Assist: If the FIT starts to stray from a detected lane, the system will provide steering assistance to help keep it centred in the lane.
• Road Departure Mitigation System: This system assists drivers in maintaining control of their vehicles by sounding an alarm in the event that the vehicle is about to go off the road, collide with an obstacle, or enter another lane without signaling.
• Auto High-Beam: Operates at speeds above 40 km/h to automatically activate or deactivate high-beam headlights in response to impending and past vehicles (including automobiles, trucks, and motorcycles), as well as bicycles and ambient light.
